The Sanctity of Life 2015

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26-28

I am always amazed at how everything God created does exactly what He commanded it to do with the one exception being man.  Consider the Sun sets and rises according to the command of God, the ocean continues go so far and no further and yet the eternal command given to man to be fruitful and multiply has allowed our country to wage war on life to the horrendous extent of over 56 million babies have been aborted since Roe v. Wade, January 22, 1973.

Unfortunately, here’s another horrific way in which our country chooses to handle life!

 Webcam Abortion Factsheet

Ban on Webcam Abortion – 2015 AR General Assembly

 What Is It?

  •  Webcam Abortion is a chemical/medical (non-surgical) abortion administered via an internet camera connection.
  • The medical abortion (RU486) uses a drug cocktail of 2 different drugs: mifepristone & misoprostol.
  • Medical abortion is effective up to 9 weeks in the First Trimester.
  • Adverse side effects include nausea, vomiting, severe stomach pain and bleeding, infection, uterine perforation and uterine rupture.
  • The failure rate is between 4-16%.

How Does It Work?

  • A woman goes to a Planned Parenthood site where there is no doctor physically present.
  • She consults with a doctor via the webcam connection.
  • The doctor remotely activates a drawer that opens and provides the woman with two bottles of abortion drugs. The first drug, which kills the unborn child, is taken immediately, within 48 hours the other pills are taken that will expel the dead baby.

Why Should We Ban It In Arkansas?

  •  Webcam abortion endangers pregnant women. There is no physical examination or consultation by the doctor to rule out life-threatening risks such as ectopic pregnancy.
  • There is no follow-up care for complications. The doctor may be hundreds of miles away in another city or state. A local doctor or hospital will be responsible for treatment and to perform a surgical abortion when the chemical abortion fails.
  • Webcam abortion not only results in the death of an unborn child, but is extremely painful both physically and emotionally for the mother. The woman/girl is forced to deal with the body of her dead unborn baby on her own.
  • There have been eight reported deaths in the U.S. linked to the use of mifepristone.
  • Seventeen (17) states have enacted laws requiring abortionist to be physically present to administer a medical abortion.
